A lot of people say "your life is what you make of it", we all have dreams and ambitions of what we want to achieve in our life time. I want to pass my GCSE's, go college, drive a mini when I'm 18, go to uni, Have a career in the music industry and then drive a white Range Rover when I'm 25. I have my life pretty much planned out. Even if I do every step correctly does that mean I'll definitely reach them?
We are in January the first month of the year. By now people are already struggling to keep their New Year resolutions and we are only 4 days in. If we fail the small targets we set for ourselves will it affect the big picture? You could do everything right and live the perfect way but still not fulfil our ambitions. This is why I believe in luck. Maybe what you want isn't even the right place for you. Being successful does come from being hardworking but it would never have happened without a bit of luck. The funny thing is that you create your own luck. I think you have to work to put yourself in the positions where you get lucky. So no matter how hard you work you still rely on something bigger than you for help.
Funny how that works out.
