So what products do you use?

Probably the number one question, whenever the topic of natural hair comes up. So, this post is all about what I use and how I use it. Eeep it's the first post of October!!

Guide to buying products for natural hair

These are NOT necessarily the products that I use.
It can be so tough to find the perfect product to cater for afro hair. I don't know about you but I don't have the money to spend on multiple different products for only one to work and having to throw the rest in the bin. It is actually painful. I remember spending £7 on a keratin spray for it to be rubbish.

So to make product searching a little easier (+ cheaper) I've written some sort of checklist for me to go through before I let go of my £££.

DIY Marley Twists

This is actually so easy to do and I also saved myself 40£ by doing it myself. Also  it is so nice to not have to style your hair, especially since I'm going Leeds festival

This is more like a diary entry. But there is no one to moan to so I'll post my thoughts on the internet.

Why the Denman brush is not for me

boots £5.99
So many afro haired girls have raved about this brush on youtube. I never use brushes I tend to use wide tooth combs, however a couple of months ago I stopped using combs as well and only used my fingers for detangling my hair — to keep breakage to a minimum. But since I've seen so many girls go on about how amazing the denman brush is I thought I'd give it a go.

Take 2

It doesn't seem that long ago but 2 years ago I started this blog. My reason for starting this blog was because 16 year old me (and present me) had a lot to say about clothes and I don't think my siblings were very interested. However straight away it somehow evolved into more than clothes. I loved blogging and I didn't really care whether someone read it or not (however it was nice to hear my mother saying to me "show me your blog my friends were telling me about it").

I told myself I'll start again when I start college but then A levels hit me like a brick in the face. Now, its summer no exams and its perfect to start again. Last year my posts became less and less frequent, so the aim is for weekly regular posts.

So, I guess this is the first post of 2015...
