Braid outs and twist outs rarely look right on my hair due to it being naturally on the thin side. But for the first time in ever (and when I have nowhere to go) it actually came out looking alright. Even though that was not intended.
I usually wear my hair in two pigtail braids, cornrows or buns. My hair ended up looking like this after taking my hair out to wash it after having them in cornrows for two days.
First I co-washed my hair using TRESemme Naturals conditioner, then I let it air dry. Whilst it was damp I applied the cantu shea butter leave in conditioner (which I personally wouldn't recommend it's too runny for my liking) then some olive oil and Jamaican black castor oil to my ends. I did four braids and I was done.
|Excuse my lazy day face lol|
My hair shrinks... a lot. In this state it barely touches my shoulders however when straight my hair is about armpit length. So I reckon I'd prefer this style on me with longer hair.
If anyone has any tips/suggestions to add volume please let me know.
